Class Gift
You can leave a legacy at the University in a wide variety of ways. Your involvement in student organizations, mentoring a peer, and your artistic or athletic performances. Every graduating student has left their mark on the University in their own unique way.
Another way students can leave a legacy is by giving to the Class Gift campaign. A student-driven initiative, the Class Gift campaign gives members of the Class of 2013 a chance to give funds to the offices, programs and projects that touched them the most. There is no minimum contribution – from a $1 to $100, anything is welcome and celebrated.
More Reasons to Give
Honor a Mentor
Seniors who donate at least $20.13 may honor an individual who has impacted their BU experience. Honorees will receive a note card and small gift in June, following Commencement. (And trust us, many of them get teary eyed when that card arrives.)
Increase BU’s Rankings
Did you know that donor participation has an effect on the rankings for top universities? The more people who give back to BU, the better our school ranks on those ever-present “Top 100″ lists, and the better your degree looks as a result.
You Choose
There are more options of programs to support with your Class Gift than there are latte combinations at the GSU Starbucks. (Well, at least that’s what we think.) There are 83 funds to which you may choose to direct your gift (including your school or college, scholarships, athletics, student life and the Community Service Center). There is also a general fund where your donation will help the area of most need.
Visit the Class Gift campaign’s website for more information on how you can give.
