Former Summer Fellow Bryan Patenaude Makes Forbes “30 Under 30” List
Bryan Patenaude, a 2013 Graduate Summer Fellow at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, recently made the 2020 Forbes “30 Under 30” List in the healthcare category.
Patenaude is a healthcare economist specializing in disease intervention, with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS. He currently leads a project that seeks to quantify the economic ROI for vaccines in 94 countries.
As a Pardee Center Graduate Summer Fellow, Patenaude wrote a paper exploring e-waste impacts on the environment, livelihoods, and health while completing an MA in Global Development Economics. He went on to earn a PhD in Global Health Economics at Harvard University, and he is currently an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
