Getting Around Campus
Sprawling nearly two miles along Commonwealth Avenue, our campus is always brimming with life. You’ll never have a shortage of ways to get from here, to there, or anywhere.
BOSTON UNIVERSITY MAPS
Boston University Maps is a fully up-to-date, Google Maps-enabled online resource for all buildings, parking lots, and locations on campus. Search for specific places, or just look around. This service is also mobile-ready, so you’ll always know where you are and where you’re going.
Printable campus maps are available in PDF format and paper copies are available upon request from Events & Conferences and other on-campus departments.
Get around campus in true BU style with the BU Shuttle (the BUS.) Check the schedule, get service updates, and track each shuttle in real-time. The BUS is free to use and will always get you where you need to go.
An accessible campus map, provided through the BU Maps system, directs you to accessible parking, curb cuts, and other useful information. It is also constantly updated to reflect the urban and ever-changing nature of the Boston University campus.
You can quickly and easily hop on a Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) bus or a train from campus to various places in the city and beyond. The Green Line, B train makes it easy to get anywhere you need to be on campus. Check the MBTA site for maps and schedules and learn more about where to pick up a Charlie Card or Ticket (you can always pay with cash on above-ground stops!)
