Jewish Learning

In addition to the many social events, Shabbat dinners and religious programs offered at Hillel, we also offer many opportunities for Jewish learning.

OU-JLIC at BU

OU-JLIC stands for the Orthodox Union Jewish Learning Initiative On Campus. OU-JLIC presents a positive, sophisticated and welcoming face for Judaism on campus. This program helps Jewish students navigate their surroundings and balance their Jewish commitments with their college experiences. It also provides avenues for spiritual development and exploration for Jewish students from all backgrounds, striving to inspire tomorrow’s Jewish leaders.

OU-JLIC hosts a wide variety of events throughout the semester. Past events include a Megillah Reading for Purim, Sukkah decorating, and a series of seminars on food and Judaism titled “Eating Your Way Through Judaism.” Weekly events are listed below.
