Open skating is offered to students, FitRec members and the general community during academic year semesters at the Walter Brown Arena, located in the Case Center at 285 Babcock Street.
Adult and youth skates are available for rent, although you are welcome to bring your own skates as availability of skate rental cannot be guaranteed. Skate rentals are $5.00 per person (all ages). Cash and credit only.
Please note: hockey sticks or pucks are NOT allowed during open skate hours.

FitRec offers skating classes open to adults, children and the general public each semester.
Adult & Children's Ice Skating Classes
This program provides basic instruction for all participants and focuses on building skills, creating confidence, and having fun. The skaters become self-assured recreational skaters as well as learning skills that can be a step towards competitive skating or playing hockey. Skaters will be placed in groups according to their skill level and will advance through proficiency tests.
