  • Ends: 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015
The Green Harbor Project is an ongoing documentary about a boarding school only for HIV positive children in Shanxi, China. The school provides the students free education, accommodation and medical care yet completely isolate them from society. By documenting the lives of the student while they graduating from the Green Harbor, we want to find out whether a facility like this should exist or not. This documentary project is filmed and produced by a team of graduate students, including Ann Wang a Photojournalist master student at BU College of Communication, Bryan Anker a first year medical student at Boston University and Samia Jaffer, a Biology student at the University of Mass, Boston. We would like to share a trailer of our ongoing documentary project and to talk about HIV/AIDS in China, and our experience working there.
