Early Bird Access

Boston University's Early Bird program is available to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and new graduate students for the convenience of those who would like early access to online services. These services require a BU login name and Kerberos password.

Incoming students who have not established a BU Web account will receive an e-mail invitation and PIN or an Early Bird flyer and access code in the mail at dates determined by their individual programs.

Please make sure you use the links in the "Apply" section later in this page to create your BU login name and Kerberos password.

The BU login name and Kerberos password you choose through the Early Bird program will provide single sign-on access to most services requiring authentication, for as long as you are at Boston University.

E-MAIL

Begin using your BU login name and Kerberos password to access your Boston University e-mail on the central mail server, ACS (Academic Computing System), before you arrive on campus. ACS e-mail accounts will be created within 24 hours after you choose a BU login name.

Check out the Student Link, where you can view class schedules and registration, your personal and financial records, information on financial aid and housing, on-campus job listings, and more. You can also purchase convenience points here.
