Undergraduate Education
Undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences engage with the questions, historic achievements, and contemporary approaches that most fundamentally inform humanity’s search for understanding of individuals, societies, and our physical universe. By studying the humanities and natural, computational, and social sciences, our students develop the tools and lay the groundwork for success and fulfillment in all walks of life.
The quality and diversity of the College’s faculty, student body, academic departments, and research centers—together with the city of Boston’s vast academic and cultural resources, the accessibility of BU’s 14 professional schools, and the international outlook exemplified by BU’s global network of study abroad opportunities—place the study of arts and sciences at CAS in a distinctively vibrant and stimulating context.
