Introduction to science policy and science policy panel discussion

Description: What is science policy? How does the federal government impact scientific discovery, and why should the scientific community care about what happens in Washington, DC? Participants will learn about the federal government’s role in science, including funding and regulations. The range of science policy careers and the skills one might need to pursue a job in science policy will also be considered.
