Leah J. Katz

Growing up in Beverly, MA with consistent involvement in band, choir, and theatre, Leah has always felt connected to the Greater Boston arts community. During her undergraduate career at Boston University, Leah majored in Film & Television along with a Theatre Arts minor and Spanish minor. Her passion for the arts continued outside of class where she served as Director of BU On Broadway’s production of Spring Awakening in the Fall of 2023 and worked as a Production Assistant at the Tsai Performance Center for two years. After graduating a semester early in January 2025, Leah is thrilled to return to the Tsai Center as Production Specialist. In her nine month ‘intermission,’ Leah kept up her production skills through freelance film PA gigs and operating live broadcast cameras for her hometown media organization, BevCam. Coming into this role, Leah looks forward to contributing to the positive environment she experienced as a student and leading Tsai’s diverse roster of events with her technical theatre and event management skills.

Outside of Tsai, Leah enjoys crocheting, tap dancing, writing sitcom pilots, and listening to (not so) spooky podcasts.
