Activate your BU GlobusID

Sign-Up Using your BU Email

1. Go to the Globus website and click on the Log In button in the top right corner [1].
   
2. On the login page, use your existing organizational login by finding Boston University in the drop-down list [1]. Then press Continue which will open up a BU Login page, where you should enter your BU Login and Kerberos password [2].
   
3. After signing in with your BU credentials, you will be given the option of linking to an existing Globus account. If you do not have another Globus account, select Continue [1].
   
4. Complete your account sign up by completing the below form and select Continue [1].
   
5. Finally, you will be shown a consent form and you select Allow to complete [1].
   

 

Find your BU GlobusID

• Login to Globus and select the SETTINGS gear icon in left-side menu [1].
• In the Settings window, click the dropdown arrow on the right of your BU email address [2].
• Your GlobusID is listed next to ID and is a 36-alphanumeric string including hyphens [3].
