In order to access MyBUworks Launchpad from your device, please follow the step-by-step instructions.
Accessing MyBUworks from an iPhone or iPad
Step 1: Opening Safari and entering the MyBUworks link
Open Safari browser on your iPad/iPhone
Enter the following URL http://www.bu.edu/mybuworks
Or scan the following QR code with your iPad/iPhone camera.
A popup will be displayed in the screen, tap on it to be redirected to MyBUworks Launchpad.
Step 2: Enter your BU login name and Kerberos password
On the BU Login page, Enter your Kerberos BU login name and password.
You will be prompted for the DUO – Two factor authentication, select the appropriate DUO options and press the Log in button.
In order to avoid the DUO authentication step for 30 days, you can check the Remember me for 30 days option.
An alert will be sent to your DUO Mobile application. Open the alert and click on Approve .
Return to the Safari Web browser to access MyBUworks Launchpad
Step 3: Bookmark the MyBUworks link for ease of future use
In the Safari browser toolbar, Tap on share button then select the Add to Bookmark feature from the displayed popup.
The following screen will be displayed,
The default name is Home but you can change it to whatever you want. We recommend that you change it to MyBUworks.
Check that the location is Favorites.
Tap on Save button.
Next time you open the Safari browser, you will find MyBUworks Launchpad link saved under the Favorites tab.
Accessing MyBUworks from an Android Smartphone or Tablet
Step 1: Opening Chrome and entering the MyBUworks link
Open Chrome browser on your Android phone/Tablet
Enter the following URL http://www.bu.edu/mybuworks
Or scan the following QR code with your Android device camera.
Step 2: Enter your BU login name and Kerberos password
On the BU Login page, Enter your Kerberos BU login name and password.
You will be prompted for the DUO – Two factor authentication, select the appropriate DUO options and press the Log in button.
In order to avoid the DUO authentication step for 30 days, you can check the Remember me for 30 days option.
An alert will be sent to your DUO Mobile application. Open the alert and click on Approve .
Return to Chrome Web browser to access MyBUworks Launchpad
Step 3: Bookmark the MyBUworks link for ease of future use
Tap on Customize and control Google Chrome
Tap on Favorites icon
Tab again on the favorites icon
a new screen will be displayed
The default name is Home but you can change it to whatever you want. We recommend that you change it to MyBUworks.
Next time you open Chrome and you want to access MyBUworks, Tap on Customize and control Google Chrome
Tap on Bookmarks
Tap on Mobile bookmarks
Tap on MyBUworks to be directed to MyBUworks Launchpad.
Accessing MyBUworks from your desktop
Below are instructions on how to access MyBUworks using the Internet Explorer browser from your desktop.
Step 1: Opening a Browser and entering the MyBUworks link
Open Internet Explorer browser and insert the following URL http://www.bu.edu/mybuworks
You will be prompted to login to BU.
Step 2: Enter your BU login name and Kerberos password
Enter your Kerberos BU login name password and press Continue.
You will be prompted for the DUO – Two factor authentication. Select the appropriate DUO options and press the Log in button.
In order to avoid the DUO authentication step for 30 days, you can check the Remember me for 30 days option.
After clicking the Log In button, an alert will be delivered to the smartphone or tablet selected as the Authenticator in the previous step.
Open the alert and click on Approve on your designated device.
Return to the Web browser session you are using to access MyBUworks.
Step 3: Bookmark the MyBUworks link for ease of future use
To bookmark the MyBUworks link in Internet Explorer click on Add to Favorite or reading list icon.
The default name is Home but you can change it to whatever you want. We recommend that you change it to MyBUworks.
Note: Check that the location is Favorites.
Click on Add.
Next time you open Internet Explorer the MyBUworks bookmark will be displayed, tap on it to navigate to MyBUworks.
