The form at the bottom of this page was created in Gravity Forms, a new forms builder that we installed for WordPress. As a comparison, we created the same form in HTML to see how long it took in both cases. The results of our comparison are below.
(Using HTML)
- Write HTML for form fields - 70 minutes.
- Write processing script (Telegraph) to handle processing of form - 15 minutes
- Test form and fix any errors found - 10 minutes
- Check confirmation email to ensure it contains correct text and form data and fix errors - 10 minutes
