Theme: Responsive Framework

New sites and those sites redesigning should use Responsive Framework.  This theme is fully responsive, 100% complaint with accessibility laws and best practices, and has multiple layout options. More than 20 elements of the theme’s color palette can be customized, and it comes with 5 combinations of premium web fonts to choose from. The Custom CSS plugin allows for the ultimate in creative control for designers skilled in CSS.

This BU WordPress theme has been developed specifically for BU by Interactive Design and IS&T to meet the widest range of publishing needs at BU while remaining a secure, scalable, and supportable publishing platform. All BU WordPress plugins are compatible with Responsive Framework. BU WordPress is managed environment — we do not install WordPress themes or plugins developed outside of BU. Supported Legacy Themes: Flexi

The Flexible Theme Framework, or Flexi for short, remains a supported theme in BU’s WordPress CMS. Flexi will not, however, be updated to include responsive design functionality. BU websites using a Flexi theme should strongly consider migrating your website to the Responsive Framework.

Flexi will no longer be available for new websites, with the exception of requests for new sites that must meet the design of an existing family of sites also using Flexi.
