Remote access allows you to use campus computing and information resources when you are not connected directly to the BU campus network. Whether you want to work from home or stay productive while traveling, most Boston University networked resources remain available to you from wherever you happen to be.

Requirements vary by resource, as outlined at Remote Access to BU Network Resources. Some resources will require use of the Virtual Private Network (VPN).

If you need VPN access, review the VPN service description and either connect to http://vpn.bu.edu, download and install the BU VPN software, or configure your Mac to connect to the BU VPN.
