Campus Density Mapping collects data to represent Boston University on-campus population density and aggregate movement and trends over time.  This information is collected across all 3 Boston University campuses (CRC, MED, and Fenway) and data is stored without identity specifics as a representation of populations in areas of campus such as buildings, floors, public areas, etc.  Data sources and use cases center primarily on wireless network device connectivity and movement, other sources such as door access events, meal plan card-swipe activity, and point-of-sale events, have been configured and may be used for similar information and analytical needs.  Campus Density Mapping provides Campus Planning & Operations, University Leadership, and Schools/College and Department Management with summarized population metrics.
