Campus Climate Lab: Call for Proposals
Now Accepting Student-Faculty Research Proposals for Fall 2021
We’re seeking students and faculty to advance research and help catalyze our community towards climate action.
BU’s Campus Climate Lab is dedicated to assisting student-faculty research projects in support of the University’s Climate Action Plan. BU Sustainability is teaming up with the Office of Research to seek out projects for the next round of funding.
Could yours be one of them?
Requirements
Proposals must be for research projects that:
- support the goals of the University’s Climate Action Plan,
- are actionable for the University as a whole, and
- include at least one faculty member and at least one student (undergraduate or graduate).
As a part of the application process, you will be required to submit a 2-page research proposal that includes a complete research team of student(s), faculty, and a direct, meaningful connection to University Operations.
Funding
Funding will be according to the scope of your project, with awards ranging from $1,000-10,000 per year.
Students who participate in the Campus Climate Lab will be eligible for the Anthony Janetos Climate Action Prize, awarded annually to the student or team of students judged to have the most substantial potential impact on advancing the goals of BU’s Climate Action Plan.
