Paws & Reset
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or need a furry friend? Take a mindful break with SHS’ therapy dogs. Spending time with therapy dogs has been shown to lower stress, boost mood, and promote a sense of calm and connection.
Mindfulness Workshop
This 1-hour activity-based workshop is an introduction to mindfulness meditation. You will learn the basics of mindfulness, explore how to use mindfulness to support your wellbeing and your goals, and try different activities that you can incorporate mindfulness into your life.
Available for groups of 10 or more students, in person or via zoom.

Mindful Movement Yoga
This 45-minute practice combines breathing with gentle, self-paced movement to encourage calmness and increase resilience. This class incorporates trauma-responsive principles and practices.

4-Week Series
These 1-hour sessions are an opportunity to develop a regular mindfulness practice. Attending weekly guided meditation sessions allow you to practice techniques to manage stress, promote relaxation, increase focus, and connect with other students

Stress can show up in the way we think and feel – like in muscle tension or racing thoughts. The videos below will guide you through practices to help manage some of these symptoms of stress.
