Medical Campus Students

Students on the Medical Campus and who have the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can get medical care at SHS or with in-network providers, like Boston Medical Center (BMC). SHS is located on the Charles River Campus and has appointments throughout the week, including Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters. Learn how to make an appointment.

Students on the Medical Campus can access counseling and psychiatry services by appointment conveniently in the Solomon Carter Fuller building on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. SHS also offers group therapy and medication management. If you have longer-term or specific treatment needs - or would prefer to see a mental health provider off-campus - we will connect you with a provider in the community who accepts your insurance. Students on the Medical Campus can access confidential and free-of-charge advocacy and assistance if they have a traumatic experience, including sexual violence, interpersonal violence, harassment, or hate crimes. Survivor Advocacy, Response, & Prevention (SARP) can be reached 24/7/365 for urgent situations. Counseling is available by appointment in the Solomon Carter Fuller Building on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
