Sargent Seniors Continue Annual Tradition, Scattering Rose Petals in the Charles River
Sargent College seniors joined Dean Dennerlein in an annual tradition this spring, scattering yellow rose petals into the Charles River.
Sargent has a long tradition of welcoming students with a ceremony where they place a yellow rose petal into a box with their class year. At the end of senior year, students come together to scatter the petals in the Charles River, a gesture symbolizing they are moving on to a new path to share their knowledge and compassion with the world.
