Sargent Professor and dietician Joan Salge Blake reminds us not to buy organic or local for health reasons. Organic produce is not more nutritious than conventional produce; choosing to buy organic is an environmental choice. In order to stay healthy, we should buy what’s in season, costs less, and tastes good.
