9/27/07: Sargent College Hosts Free Breakfast to Kickoff the 4th Annual Healthy Lifestyle Challenge
(Boston) – Boston University (BU) Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences will host a free breakfast on October 1, 2007 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Sargent College lobby at 635 Commonwealth Avenue. The breakfast will serve to kick off the 4th Annual Healthy Lifestyle Challenge.
The breakfast will not only promote this year’s Challenge, but is also meant to reinforce the idea that a balanced breakfast is crucial to a healthy diet. Those who attend the breakfast will receive a breakfast bag, a number of free giveaways and more information about how to join this year’s challenge.
The Challenge is an email-run program, which encourages its participants to incorporate healthy habits into everyday life, therefore improving their overall lifestyle. Members receive a challenge via email every two weeks and are instructed to implement it into their life. Participants are also entered into a bi-weekly raffle. The challenges are lifestyle tips, changes and recommendations created by BU Sargent College faculty and students.
Past challenges have ranged from specific ways to limit trans fats in your diet to learning how to stretch properly before exercising. You will have the opportunity to win prizes along the way and attend many new and exciting events planned for this year. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes including gift cards to many local businesses.
