2013 Occupational Therapy Alumni Award:

The Occupational Therapy faculty has selected Susan H. Lin, ScD, OTR/L (ScD in Therapeutic Studies, class of 2003) as the recipient for Boston University Sargent College’s 2013 OT Alumni Award. The faculty wants to recognize her significant efforts as the Director of Research at AOTA to support and further develop the conduct and application of research in our profession. These activities are essential to achieving the Centennial Vision of occupational therapy as a science-driven and evidence-based profession.  Her leadership in this role serves as a model for and a challenge to our students to look beyond their own immediate concerns and to think about how they may apply their skills and expertise in service to the profession and those needing our services.  The award will be presented at the Boston University OT Alumni & Clinical Associates Reception at AOTA Conference on April 26 in San Diego.
