Alarcon Bustos Presents at Conference
Poliana Alarcon Bustos, a student in our doctoral program in Hispanic Language & Literatures, presented at a conference on Tuesday, November 8th, in Brockton, MA, as a co-facilitator with Hilda Ramirez. Ramirez is the Player Development Education Coordinator at the Boston Red Sox, and also the former Executive Director of the Latino Education Institute of Worcester State University.
The title of the workshop that Alarcon Bustos helped lead was: Bilingual Reader’s Theatre for Active Reading and Writing. It was part of a literacy project for elementary, middle, and high school students.
