Aaron Nichols

Aaron is a PhD candidate in Marketing at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University– where he works with Dr. Nina Mazar. Aaron’s work investigates consumer behavior and addresses social issues in marketing. Aaron’s work explores methods for reducing misinformation and how the digital marketing of diversity affects applicant behavior and quality. His research also investigates how consumers react to the marketing of inclusive policies and ESG ratings. In earlier research, Aaron investigated moral decision-making and how various environmental cues can encourage dishonest behavior.

Aaron received undergraduate degrees in Psychology (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. Prior to joining the Marketing PhD program at Questrom, Aaron conducted behavioral economics research at Duke University. As a behavioral scientist at Duke University, Aaron designed and executed experiments in both field and laboratory settings.
