M.A. Student; Preservation Studies, Museum Practice Concentration

Meghan Keefe attended the University of Vermont, where she double majored in Ancient Greek and Classical Civilization with a double minor in Art History and Anthropology. She completed her MA in Preservation Studies with the Museum Studies concentration in Fall of 2024. Meghan is from Littleton, Massachusetts, whose historical society she credits for her interest in history. At the University of Vermont Meghan participated under the Roman Villa Project in an archaeological excavation at an ancient olive plantation in the central Italian town of Mompeo. She assisted in a second dig in Romania through the program Archaeotek, excavating a Roman Villa in Rapoltu Mare, Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. In the future she hopes to work in museums, specifically regarding ancient art.
