Applicants to the graduate program should use the online application, which is available on the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS) site: Online Application Form.
The Preservation Studies Program at Boston University offers two graduate level degrees:
The MA in Preservation Studies program accepts students for both the fall and spring semesters. The fall semester deadline is February 15, and the deadline for starting in spring is November 15. The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences does offer Application Fee Waivers for individuals who participate in specific programs or who have documented financial hardship. Please visit the GRS website to see if you qualify and apply for the fee waiver.
Learn about our faculty, financial assistance for the MA, and meet some students and alumni. And if you’re as excited as we are about our approach to Preservation Studies, begin your application here.
For the JD/MA, students must first apply and be admitted to the JD program through the BU School of Law. Only during their first semester at the School of Law, BU Law students may apply to the joint JD/MA program.
