Jan Haenraets is a landscape architect and historic preservation specialist, practicing designer, researcher, and educator, with multi-disciplinary and global experiences. His work ranges from creative design and environmental art to heritage management, cultural landscape advice and planning. His research interests and writings focus on international approaches toward historic landscape preservation, ecological sustainability and preservation of 20th C. designed landscapes. In addition to being Professor of the Practice, Dr. Haenraets recently served as Acting Director for the Preservation Studies Program.
