
M.A. Student; Preservation Studies, Museum Practice Concentration
Born in the Hudson Valley, New York, Hailey Manlowe is a daughter of diplomats and grew up around the world, primarily in Southern Asia. Applying her international experience and education, Hailey has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as a Visitor Experience Ambassador since her graduation in 2021. Hailey recently completed a two week long Photo-Research Expedition through the Balkan Heritage Field School, documenting Medieval Churches and their Frescoes in Western Bulgaria and Serbia. She is eager to combine her interests in art, preservation, history, culture, media, museum education and public outreach.
Hailey’s research interests primarily consist of the intersection of Preservation and Media, the Use of Media in Museums, Global Heritage Conservation, and Museum Curation (both physical and digital)
