M.A. Student; Preservation Studies, Architectural History Concentration

Lea Kolesky received her Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California San Diego. Her senior honors thesis analyzed the impact of the 1915-1917 Panama-California Exposition on city-making practices in early twentieth-century San Diego.

In addition to being a full-time student in the Preservation Studies MA program, Lea holds a dual-role as an Architectural Historian and Historic Preservation Planner for an engineering consulting firm. With over 5 years of professional experience, Lea has worked on projects involving residential, commercial, industrial, military, infrastructure, and transportation-related properties in both urban and rural settings.
