AboutÂ
Victoria Hatchell received her Bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College,Pennsylvania, in 2020, having double majored in History and Philosophy. She completed a MA in Preservation Studies with a concentration in History. Victoria is from Readfield, Maine, a small town in central Maine about an hour north of Portland. During her undergraduate career, she interned and worked at the Maine State Museum in Augusta, Maine with the Collections and Conservation departments, before working as an educator at a Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, Illinois for two years post-graduation. Her research interests range from the role education plays in the preservation field to how video games represent a form of popular history worthy of study by historians. Victoria is interned with the National Park Service at Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, Massachusetts, and hopes to continue working at historic house museums in the future.
