Scott entered the Ph.D. program in the Fall of 2022. His research interests include international relations and the political economy of national security in East Asia. He previously received a Master’s degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2021, with a concentration in Asian politics and security. Prior to that he earned an MBA in international business and finance at the University of Chicago and held executive positions in the U.S. and Asia in the field of investment management.
