The Simpson Undergraduate Writing Fellows provide writing support to undergraduate students in many disciplines and courses. Fellows provide guidance on writing assignments, share disciplinary and writing knowledge, and help students to make their own writing choices. Simpson Fellows also serve as ambassadors for their departments and programs.

Political Science
Emilia, a senior majoring in Political Science & Philosophy, is a core member of the Mind and Morality Lab, Co-Chair Executive of the Kilachand Leadership Advisory Board, and has studied abroad in Switzerland, Czechia, and Cuba. With interests in civil society, transitional justice, and social epistemology, she aims to apply strong theoretical grounding to interdisciplinary writing topics. Emilia also has a minor in Music Performance, and loves playing the cello in solo and collaborative settings.

Kasey, a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Public Health, hopes to pursue medical malpractice law. Kasey delights in appropriate grammar, exceeding word-count minimums, and helping others find the joy in academic writing. Outside of class, she equally delights in musical theatre, trying to play the piano, and writing creatively.
