  • ACE or Advancement to Candidacy Exam (formerly the POE or Preliminary Oral Exam) guidance document
    • This is the required format for students who started Fall 2022 or later, students who joined earlier may opt for the old POE format
  • PhD Requirements valid for students who started Fall 2020 or later
  • Ph.D. Requirements valid for students who started Fall 2017 or later
  • Ph.D. Requirements for Students Entering the Program Effective Fall 2015
  • Ph.D. Degree Requirements for Post-Bachelor Students (for students entering the program prior to Fall 2015)
  • Ph.D. Degree Requirements for Post-Master Students (for students entering the program prior to Fall 2015)
  • MA Degree Requirements valid for students who started Fall 2017 or later
  • MA Degree Requirements valid for students who started prior to Fall 2017
