SAVE THE DATE! On November 30th, 2023, the Boston University Photonics Center’s annual one-day Symposium will take place, with Associate Professor Milos Popovic as host.This year’s symposium topic, “Photonic Chips in Everything,” will explore “Emerging Applications and Materials in Silicon Photonic Integrated Circuits.” Featuring distinguished speakers and participants from academia, industry and government, the event will discuss what the emerging opportunities are for photonics in the recent resurgence of semiconductor chip technology, development of new applications and its interaction with foundry manufacturing platforms, and potential impact on and from the research community. The event will feature a roundtable discussion with the speakers, and a poster session.
