Educational outreach is important to our chapter to share our love of optics and inspire young scientists. We are always on the lookout for ways to be involved in the community!

Cambridge Science Fair with Thorlabs Mobile Lab

The Thorlabs mobile lab is a travelling educational experience designed to bring the science of photonics to people of all ages around the US. It has onboard photonics equipment and optical tables to provide hands-on experience in different photonics applications.

StemFEST

StemFEST is a day-long community-focused event funded by the NSF featuring hands-on learning experiences and workshops that aims to bring together local universities, companies, and nonprofits and provides a platform for them to share their STEM work with the community.
