Last night, the Photonics Center was packed for Ji-Xin Cheng’s DeLisi Lecture, hosted by the Boston University College of Engineering. Professor Ji-Xin Cheng has been awarded the 2024 SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics Biophotonics Technology Innovator Award. Cheng is the Moustakas Chair Professor in Photonics and Optoelectronics and is a world-renowned pioneer in bond-selective spectroscopic imaging.
