Farbin Fayza Receives Graduate Student Summer Fellowship from the Institute for Global Sustainability
Farbin Fayza
, PhD student at Ajay Joshi’s Integrated Circuits and Systems Group, recently received the Graduate Student Summer Fellowship from the Institute for Global Sustainability at Boston University. The cohort of graduate students will be researching bold and innovative solutions to the Climate Crisis, focusing specifically on “energy consumption patterns, population exposure to water scarcity and extreme heat, the sustainability and key characteristics of several emerging technologies, and ecosystem restoration.” Fayza’s own research focuses on using photonics to design sustainable AI systems.
