Five Photonics Students’ Papers Finalists in Optica Imaging Conference Competition
Five graduate students of the Photonics Center were among the finalists of last weeks OPTICA Imaging Conference Student Paper Competition. Each student came from one of four Photonics Center professor research groups, showcasing their significant research strengths in, and the capabilities of, imaging at Boston University. The students, their research groups, and their papers include:
Tian Group:Jiabei Zhu, Boston University, USA (DM4A.4) 3D Phase Imaging from Intensity Measurements with Non-Paraxial Multiple Scattering Model
Hao Wang, Boston University, USA Wide-field, high-resolution reflection-mode Fourier ptychographic microscopy
Cheng Group:Xiaowei Ge, Boston University, USA (JM2B.3) Photothermally Detected Stimulated Raman Scattering Microscopy
Mertz Group:Bingying Zhao, Boston University, USA (ITu3E.4) High-resolution multi-z confocal microscopy
Paiella Group (joint work with Tian group):Jianing Liu, Boston University, USA (FW5D.6) Quantitative Phase Contrast Imaging with Plasmonic Metasurface Photodetectors
Congrats to our students on their continuous achievements in the field of optics and photonics!
