Newly Appointed Photonics Center Faculty

The Photonics Center is proud to announce the three most recent faculty members joining our center! Coming from the College of Engineering, these three professors will be utilizing the Photonics Center to further their research, teachings, and advancements in the field.


Sean Lubner, ME, MSE

Sean Lubner is a new assistant professor this year in ME and MSE. He has been operating in a lab through ME, and will also take over a 7th floor lab in the Photonics Center this summer, continuing his focus in nano-to-macro energy transport and conversion.

 

 


Hadi Nia, BME, MSE

Hadi T. Nia, an assistant professor in BME and MSE, aims to utilize the Photonics Center to further his research on cancer through tumor development, progressions, and treatments.

 

 

 


Mary Dunlop, BME

Mary Dunlop is an associate professor of BME, as well as the graduate chair for BME. Her research is primarily interested in synthetic biology, deep learning, optogenetics, and more within the realm of systems biology.
