FFF – May 1, 2020
1) Recent PPS survey
Last week, PPS sent out a brief survey requesting input on our operations, and ways that we can be more useful to the financial and administrative community in the future. If you have not already done so, we’d greatly appreciate it if you would take 5 minutes to complete this survey.
Thank you very much to all of those who have already participated. We’re grateful for your feedback.
2) Upcoming change to PCard application process
Effective May 18, 2020, new applications for PCards will be processed through OnBase (similar to the Travel Card application process). The link to the updated application will still be located on the Card Services page, but the previous PDF application will be replaced.
3) New contactless Travel Cards
Beginning April 29, 2020, USBank will begin issuing cards with contactless functionality on all new Corporate and One card programs. In addition, cards expiring in June 2020 and beyond will receive a contactless card in advance of their expiration. Users will notice a slight change to the appearance of the card from the current card design, most noticeably the contactless icon which will now appear on the front of the card.
More information can be found here.
4) Shorts travel booking to be handled by Sourcing & Procurement
BU Sourcing & Procurement will be overseeing Travel booking using Shorts Travel management (through the Concur booking tool). Requests for assistance and general inquiries related to booking should be directed towards Sourcing & Procurement.
Travel Services will continue to oversee and support the expense-related aspects of the travel processes.
5) New Pcard fraud protection features
Bank of America has added new fraud protection functionality for the PCard. Card holders can sign up for the Global Card Access program to receive alerts when there is suspicious card activity.
Additionally, there is now an option to lock/unlock the PCard when it is not in active use.
