Fall Welcome Events for New Families

Family Welcome Centers

Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24, 10 am-3 pm

Take a break during move-in and stop by our Family Welcome Center, located on Marsh Plaza, 735 Commonwealth Avenue, for some light refreshments and community engagement. Members of the Dean of Students team will be there to greet you, answer any questions you may have, share information, and introduce you to fellow members of the BU family. Registration is not required for these events.

New Family Farewell

Sunday, August 24, 4-6 pm

Parents and family members of first year students and transfers are invited to join us at the Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre, 820 Commonwealth Avenue, for our New Family Farewell. Your new Terrier will be busy meeting fellow students as they prepare to start their orientation experiences. We hope you’ll join us for some light refreshments and community engagement. Registration for this event will go live later this spring.
