Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is an internationally celebrated program that teaches graduate students to distill years of dissertation research into a compelling three-minute presentation.
At Boston University's 3MT Final Competition, ten BU PhD candidates from across campus will compete to explain their work to a general audience. A panel of faculty judges will select the First Place Award ($1,000) and Second Place Award ($500). The live audience will also cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award ($500).
