About Us
Building on the Pardee Center’s strengths in global governance and comparative politics, its leadership is developing the AI Governance and Data Initiative (AGDI) to advance original research and foster dialogue on the geopolitical and broader societal implications of AI. Themes we investigate include but not limited to:
- Geopolitics of AI diffusion
- Measures of AI capacity
- AI’s impact on labor market
- AI, media, and public trust
Our Team
The proposed AGDI taskforce will be co-directed by Min Ye, Professor of International Relations and Director of the Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, and Raymond Wang, Assistant Professor of International Relations.
Core researchers include Yingqui Kuang, Data Analyst and Team Lead for the Data Analysis for Transparency and Accountability at BU’s GDP Center; Alice Hong, Pardee Center Visiting Researcher; and Caitlyn Chen, PhD student in BU’s College of Communication and 2026 Graduate Summer Fellow.
