Biography
Ana Villarreal is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Boston University affiliated with the Latin American Studies Program at the Pardee School of Global Studies. She is an ethnographer broadly interested in urban inequality, drugs, violence, the sociology of emotions, work and Latin America. She teaches social theory and social problems with an emphasis on drugs at Boston University.
