Biography

Laura Ann Twagira is an Assistant Professor of History at Wesleyan University. She worked previously as a Visiting Research Fellow for the fall semester. She received her Ph.D. in African History at Rutgers University and was a Visiting Scholar at the African Studies Center at Boston University. At the Pardee Center, her research focused on issues of gender, technology, and local environmental governance.
