Pardee Fellow discusses Climate in Washington, D.C.

Pardee Reserach Fellow Henrik Selin participated in a panel discussion in Washington, D.C. on January 12 titled "Governing the Climate: Lessons from the National Conference on Climate Governance."
The session was held at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and sponsored by the Center’s Canada Institute and Environmental Change and Security Program with support from the Stockholm Environment Institute.
The discussion focused on North American climate governance, and Prof. Selin and Stacy VanDeveer of the University of New Hampshire spoke about the direction that may be taken by the U.S. in re-engaging with the world on climate change as the new administration of President-elect Barak Obama begins work. After the panel, Prof. Selin and other presenters met with Swedish government officials to talk about the U.S., transatlantic and global climate change politics.
