Pardee Distinguished Lecture with Geoffrey West Aired On 90.9 WBUR
Boston’s public radio station 90.9 WBUR recorded the Pardee Distinguished Lecture by Prof. Geoffrey West, “Growth, Innovation, and the Accelerating Pace of Life from Cells to Cities: Are They Sustainable?” The lecture was aired on May 12, 2013 on WBUR’s World of Ideas program and is also available as a podcast. Prof. West delivered the annual Pardee Distiguished Lecture sponsored by the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. This year’s lecture, which took place on April 4 at the Trustee Ballroom at Boston University, was associated with the Pardee Center’s program on The Urban Century.
