zaman-thPardee Faculty Fellow Muhammad H. Zaman wrote an op-ed published on March 25 for the Huffington Post about the nomination of Jim Young Kim to head the World Bank. Prof. Zaman focused on the role the World Bank has on fostering innovation. Dr. Zaman is a professor of Biomedical Engineering and Medicine at Boston University. He also works closely with institutions of higher learning in curriculum development and implementation and partners with nonprofits worldwide to develop inexpensive and easy-to-use diagnostics in remote areas.

In his op-ed he writes about the connection between world finances and world health and education.
