Alejandro Avenburg Joins Pardee Center as Graduate Fellow

alejandro-editAlejandro Avenburg joins the Pardee Center as a Graduate Fellow. He is a doctoral student in Political Science at Boston University. His areas of interest are comparative politics and Latin American politics. He began work at the Pardee Center in the summer of 2011 studying the relationship between corruption and political participation in Latin America as part of the 2011 Pardee Summer Graduate Fellows Program. He is currently working on his dissertation project, which focuses on sub-national politics in Latin America and how different patterns of land tenure and agriculture production affect sub-national regimes. In the past, Alejandro held a Fulbright Fellowship.
